In this blog post, we will discuss Keys In Kashato Shirts Practice Set. This is a set of five band shirts with an image of a key on the front and the word "Kashato" on the back. The band members are from Claremont, CA and they make music to celebrate life's ups and downs. Their music is loud and exciting yet melodic and funky. There are three guitars, bass guitar, drum kit, turntable, and vocals. This blog post will introduce the sound of the band via five songs that they played in their live session in KEXP studio in June 20, 2015. The first song is called "Something's Up." This song has a drawn out intro with strummed electric guitars followed by tight bass lines, which in turn leads to a very danceable chorus with drums and turntable sounds in the background. The beat is very catchy especially after the 8-bar build up when it drops into a groove at bar 32 by layering different sounds on top of each other. The lyrics are very catchy, "Something's up girl girl let me know what you want to do." They make it playful without being too happy-go-lucky. The second song is called "Where I Want To Be." This song has a disco feel with rhythmic guitar riffs, fast drums, and funky bass lines. The lyrics are very inspiring, "I want to be where I want to be where I don't have to fight the cold just to find my way. And if you're feeling cold then come on along with me." The beat is very propulsive and has a lot of energy that keeps the listener interested in the song. The third song is called "Need A Break." This song has a power pop sound with catchy guitar riffs and vocals that keep the listener active and engaged. One of their strong points is how the vocals and the beat match up really well in this song. The vocalist is feeling a little lost in life and he wants to take a break from it all. This song perfectly captures the feeling of wanting to take a break from life or wanting to escape for a bit because you've had enough, " Gotta get out I need a break Gotta get out I need some sleep." The fourth song is called "Somewhere Down With You" . The song starts with a slow intro that builds up into a fast and strong chorus and the strong bass lines and guitar riffs perfectly match the vocalists attitude. The lyrics talk about how he wants to be somewhere down with you, " I want to be somewhere down with you where we don't have to fight we can just fall asleep." The fifth song is called "Well this World is Waiting On You (You Can Make It Happen)". This song has a funky reggae vibe throughout with driving bass lines and quick drum beats. The lyrics are very motivational, "I think there is something out there waiting for you, yeah this world is waiting on you, yeah it's waiting on you and me and everybody else. cfa1e77820
